Hi, I’m Cal Mitchell.

I’ve been a data engineer since graduating with a masters degree in software development from Boston University in 2019.

I’m also the creator of SQLpipe, an open-source data movement tool.

I’ve had the privilege to work with a lot of really smart people and solve some interesting data challenges. This website is my attempt to publicize that experience and help others solve their own data challenges by categorizing, explaining, and reviewing the data systems I’ve come across.

I like running, surfing, and occasionally salsa dancing. My dream is to contribute to some outer space related endeavor someday.
